The Switch Program is a mobile, community-powered youth experience that bridges the gap between school and real life by connecting teens directly with professionals, workplaces, and career pathways—before pressure sets in.Whatever you're building, we're here to help you take the first step with confidence.
WHAT IS THE SWITCH PROGRAM
The Switch Program introduces teens to real careers through hands-on experiences and conversations with professionals. Instead of learning about jobs from a screen or a worksheet, students step into environments where work actually happens.
HOW IT WORKS
We partner with workforce institutions like Job Corps and travel directly to businesses, organizations, and community spaces to host career exposure sessions.
Students learn by observing, asking questions, and engaging with professionals in real-world settings.
WHO IS IT FOR• Teens ages 14–18
• Students exploring their interests
• Youth unsure of their next steps
• Families looking for guidance beyond the CLASSROOM
No experience or prior knowledge is required.
what makes switch different.
Most programs ask students to choose a path. Switch helps them discover one.
-
• Exposure over expectation
• Experience over theory• Confidence before commitment
Students are encouraged to explore—not decide.
-
Through Switch, students build:
• Confidence in professional environments
• Awareness of career options they may not see every day
• Communication and critical thinking skills
• Clarity about interests, strengths, and next steps -
The Switch Program is designed to be flexible and mobile, allowing us to meet youth where opportunity exists—whether in a classroom, a business, or a workforce partner site. This model allows us to grow, adapt, and reach students across communities.
